We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to lead the execution of the company’s marketing strategy and oversee all advertising, communications, and marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, demand generation, dealer channel marketing, and sales enablement across the organization. The Director of Marketing works closely with executive leadership, field sales, dealer principals, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and consistent brand positioning.

This position is based on-site at our Schaumburg, Illinois headquarters and requires strong cross-functional leadership, hands-on execution, and deep industry knowledge.

You own the marketing function. Your key areas of accountability:

Strategy & Performance
•    Define and execute the North American marketing strategy aligned with revenue and market share targets
•    Establish KPIs for all marketing activity; report results to executive leadership with clarity and accountability
•    Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
•    Continuously optimize spend allocation based on performance data

Brand & Communications
•    Own brand identity and consistency across all channels, materials, and touchpoints
•    Lead PR and corporate communications efforts, including industry media relations and association partnerships
•    Drive content strategy that positions DN Solutions as a thought leader in advanced manufacturing

Digital & Demand Generation
•    Oversee digital marketing – SEO/SEM, web, social, email, and paid media – in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager
•    Build scalable demand generation programs that support the field sales and dealer network
•    Leverage AI tools and marketing technology to increase efficiency and impact across campaigns
•    Manage lead fulfillment, CRM data governance, and marketing automation

Dealer Channel & Sales Enablement
•    Lead dealer channel marketing across the North American network; maintain active relationships with dealer principals
•    Develop and manage sales enablement tools and materials (e.g., Showpad) for both the dealer network and internal sales teams
•    Coordinate go-to-market execution for new product launches

Events & Sponsorships
•    Plan and execute trade shows, dealer meetings, open houses, and customer events from concept through post-show analysis
•    Manage sponsorship programs, including NASCAR and other strategic partnerships
•    Ensure every event delivers measurable business outcomes

Team & Budget Leadership
•    Lead, develop, and hold accountable the Marketing Coordinator and Digital Marketing Manager
•    Own the marketing budget – plan, allocate, track, and optimize spend with rigor
•    Manage agency relationships, media partners, and vendors; negotiate contracts and drive performance

What We're Looking For: You are a senior marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You set the direction, then roll up your sleeves to make it happen.

Requirements
•    7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
•    Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing programs across digital, brand, events, and channel
•    Track record of defining and delivering against KPIs; you measure what matters
•    Experience managing external agencies, media partners, and vendor relationships
•    Strong financial acumen – budgeting, performance analysis, and ROI reporting
•    Comfort working hands-on: you can write a brief, build a campaign, and present to the board
•    Confident working with and actively adopting AI tools to amplify marketing output
•    Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Preferred Experience 
•    Background in the machine tool, manufacturing, or industrial B2B sector
•    Understanding of dealer-based sales channels and distributor marketing
•    Engineering background or technical fluency in manufacturing processes
