
Project Manager (Planning) - Ahmedabad/Bharuch/Kadi/Gujarat
Job Description
A. Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed baseline schedules using MS Project, covering WBS creation, activity sequencing, duration estimation, and resource allocation.
- Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules, weekly updates, and monthly progress plans for all engineering packages.
- Integrate schedules for Civil, PEB, MEP, HVAC, Firefighting, Refrigeration, Utility & external development works.
- Monitor actual progress vs planned and highlight delays, slippages, and critical-path deviations.
B. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Update weekly and monthly Project Progress Reports (PPR/WPSR) with measurable KPIs—quantity achieved vs target, resource deployment, and productivity metrics.
- Generate progress dashboards, S‑curves, histogram charts, critical path analysis, and delay analysis.
- Assist the project team with forecasting, recovery plans, and mitigation strategies in case of deviations.
C. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams (Civil, PEB, MEP) and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, PMC).
- Obtain weekly updates from site teams and vendor representatives for schedule adherence.
- Present schedule status during weekly review meetings with the project manager and the client.
D. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain schedule logs, change control registers, and delay/event trackers.
- Support claim preparation and EOT justification with data-backed analysis.
- Ensure all planning documentation is aligned with project governance standards.
B.E. in Mechanical OR Civil Engineering
Post‑graduation from NICMAR (National Institute of Construction Management & Research) or an equivalent institution offering advanced studies in Project Management / Construction Management.
