POSITION TITLE: Residential QIDP
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director or Services & Supports
HOURS: Full-Time
STARTING SALARY: $54,000-$59,000
STARTING DATE: ASAP
Skills Needed:
- Working knowledge of local and community-based resources that may be used by persons supported.
- Must possess working knowledge of Windows-based computers/software systems, as well as local and cloud-based storage systems, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), utilization of electronic health record systems, databases, web-based software, and other tools used for documentation and service delivery.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA standards is essential, including understanding industry requirements for confidentiality, compliance, and maintaining electronic and paper file security.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and utilize problem-solving skills.
- Must possess effective communication and excellent writing skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams, and maintain collaborative working relationships with agency staff, persons supported, families/guardians, external stakeholders, outside agencies, and the community.
Qualifications:
- A human services professional with a bachelor’s degree in a human service field, including but not limited to social work, special education, education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Certification as a QIDP is required, or the ability to become QIDP certified within four (4) months of hire.
- A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in an independent/autonomous role with minimal supervision is required.
- Must have a current, valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation in order to manage multiple sites. Must meet the requirements of the agency insurance carrier and drive agency vehicles as needed.
- Ability to work flexible schedules as needed. This will include working in an on-call capacity as required by the agency.
- Ability to physically handle the special needs of the individuals served by the program and to assist program staff in emergencies including the ability to lift, push, pull, stoop, twist, turn, squat, climb stairs, walk, stand stationary, transfer supported persons, and assist in lifting a minimum body weight of 150 pounds.
- Must attend and satisfactorily complete all training requirements.

- Annual Salary Range: $54,000 to $59,000. A competitive salary will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, specialized training, and education.
