Job Summary
We are developing and building our first datacenter in Koria, Kouvola, in partnership with Hyperco, initial phases planned to be commissioned by the end of 2026. This is a unique opportunity to join the team at an early stage, working on a mission-critical facility developed through joint venture that combines strong local expertise with a global hyperscale platform.
As a Maintenance Planner you are responsible for overseeing all maintenance aspects of data centre operations to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with our customers. This role involves working closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors to plan and manage the annual Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Additionally, the Maintenance Planner must adjust plans as necessary to support unplanned emergency maintenance and break fix activities, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency in data centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Upgrades
- Plan and coordinate asset management services including asset management delivery planning, preventative and corrective maintenance activities planning, condition monitoring and lifecycle planning.
- Ensure all systems are serviced according to manufacturer and company standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal impact on operations. Follow up on Change Management approval.
- Prepare and update the 52-week maintenance plan.
- Ensure data completeness in CMMS system, including maintenance reports, faults, asset information, spare parts etc.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and records to support compliance audits and certifications.
System Support
- Utilise the CMMS system including records management and planning.
- Collaborate with other engineering and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient system performance.
Strategic Initiatives
- Support the Critical Services Manager in reporting requirements.
- Participate in budget planning and cost management activities to ensure operational efficiency and financial performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in engineering, computer science, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, ideally in a critical environment or data centre.
- Strong experience in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Proven experience in managing technical teams and 24/7 operations.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high integrity and a collaborative working style.
