Job Description
Koniag Professional Services (KPS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a high-performing SETA Program Manager (PM) with a TS/SCI clearance to support acquisition transition and program support activities within Joint Operational Integration (JOI) under DASW Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2). This position is onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.
This individual will help lead and operationalize a prototype capability transitioning to a Program of Record (PoR) while supporting strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and day-to-day execution activities. The position requires a proactive “first mover” capable of helping establish and shape a new team integrating personnel across programs and products funded through Department of War initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and builder — someone comfortable stepping into a newly forming organization, creating structure where little exists, and helping shape acquisition transition efforts from prototype through enterprise integration. This role is best suited for a highly collaborative PM who can bridge operational, acquisition, and technical communities while driving execution forward.
Key Responsibilities
Support the current government director in daily program execution and operational management activities
Lead coordination efforts associated with acquisition transition planning and PoR transition activities
Represent the director in acquisition transition discussions, meetings, and cross-functional engagements
Assist leadership in developing and executing transition strategies for prototype-to-PoR efforts
Coordinate with government, industry, and mission stakeholders to align acquisition, operational, and technical objectives
Help build and mature a matrixed support structure across multiple programs/products funded through JOIP
Develop briefings, status reports, strategic communications, and executive-level deliverables
Track action items, risks, milestones, and dependencies across program activities
Support synchronization between acquisition, operations, experimentation, and interoperability efforts
Identify process improvements and help establish scalable PMO governance practices
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD acquisition, program management, or transition activities
Familiarity with prototype-to-production/program-of-record transition processes
Ability to operate independently in ambiguous or emerging mission environments
Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience coordinating across multiple organizations and functional teams
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred depending on mission requirements)
Preferred:
Experience supporting OSD, Joint Staff, SCO, or AI2-related initiatives
Knowledge of DoW acquisition lifecycle and transition pathways
Familiarity with interoperability, experimentation, and operational integration efforts
Experience building or standing up new PMO/team structures
PMP certification or equivalent program management credentials
Experience with Confluence, Jira, MS Teams, and executive reporting environments
