Core Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end financial planning and analysis for LEGO Education's full P&L, including driving yearly wheel of LEGO Education's financial performance (including in-year estimates and forecasts, mid/long-term financial planning, pricing review and ad-hoc P&L deep-dives)

  • P&L management & financial modelling. Own the P&L, driving insights into revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability levers. Create and maintain dynamic financial models to support business scenarios and decision-making.

  • Deliver accurate, insight-driven financial forecasts that support executive decision-making and business agility.

  • Drive financial planning modernization and continuous improvement across finance tools and processes (process automation, enhanced financial transparency, reporting framework and KPI governance)

  • Lead cross-functional financial initiatives like margin improvement, pricing and profitability analysis, strategic investment analysis and resource allocation.

  • Partner and support rest of finance organization as well as different areas of our business to translate financial results into operational insights, challenge assumptions and identify risks/opportunities and drive accountability against financial targets and KPIs.

This role sits at the center of LEGO Education within Finance, Business Development & Insights function. Within the Finance organization this role is part of Financial Planning and Controlling, which its key purpose is to  drive value by providing financial transparency, strong governance and enabling efficient decision making, value the team drive leads to sustainable business performance long-term enabling reaching more students.
You will play a vital role by having active and strong collaboration across LEGO Education working closely with core processes and stakeholders behind Demand Plan, Sales & Operation Plan amongst other processes to ensure financial performance accountability and transparency.
The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen, structured approach, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

This role is designed for a modern FP&A function who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments and can influence decisions at both strategic and
operational levels. This position plays a critical role in scaling financial planning capabilities, improving forecasting accuracy, enhancing KPI visibility, and supporting enterprise-wide growth initiative.
 

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated and solid finance experience in a global organization ideally in financial planning and analysis, where you have led financial estimates across the organization. In addition, we expect that you:

  • Have advanced FP&A and Financial modelling experience looking at end to end businesses (command of variation analysis, driver-based forecasting and scenario planning)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnership within the organization beyond finance colleagues

  • Deliver high-quality outputs and runs independently with natural collaboration and teamwork mindset.

  • Show proven experience of leading financial projects and driving process automation and simplification, improved reporting cycles and enhanced financial transparency -experience building scalable finance processes is highly valued.

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn and develop.
