Job Description
Officer, Cash and Trade Processing is an entry level role responsible for the processing of all regular, restricted and legal transfers in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex cash & trade operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Process client payments, receivables and trade transactions.
- Provide instructions for a variety of tasks, including receipts and authentication, processing and recording, and reporting and reconciliation
- Perform cash management operations, including teller activities, cash handling, check processing, return items and fund transfer processing.
- Participate in UAT and implementation activities.
- Monitor and report errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Coordinate with local and regional technology teams for system enhancements
- Regular monitoring of transactions, checking regular transactional docs and ensuring all the requirements are in place and discrepancies (if any) are rectified if found.
- Preparing different MIS and providing to respective stakeholders.
- Fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
Education:
- Graduation/Post-Graduation degree from a reputed university.
