Position title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Reports to: Assistant Principal
Job Objective: The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering behavior-analytic services and practice based on the students BIP and FBA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Essential Functions:

Provides behavior intervention services to increase and improve skills and functional abilities of students to be monitored under the direction of the certified special education teacher.
Member of the crisis team at the assigned school.
Collects and maintains data for monitoring student progress through behavior intervention plans and observations.
Monitors progress and reassess skill development and other identified needs.
Assists special education teacher with assessment procedures, behavior intervention plans, and implementation of interventions and differential reinforcement procedures.
Regularly review, and remain well-versed in a multitude of BIPs in order to implement the plans and monitor plans for multiple students, at the same time.
Communicates with staff, teachers, parents and administrators to implement new and improved student skills into daily activities.
Provides training and modeling of instructional and therapeutic strategies to instructional staff.
Performs other related duties consistent with job description and assignment.
