Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Systems Manager to join our ever-evolving Technology Service Operations Core Settlement team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
What you’ll own as the Systems Manager
Leads 24/7 Technology Service Operations Core Settlement group, providing technical support for new products, production issues, and ongoing operations while ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and continuity planning
Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight for teams and projects; assigns and monitors work, supports recruiting and development, and manages relationships with external clients, consultants, vendors, and service-level agreements as needed.
Leads and sponsors technology initiatives by translating business strategy and user needs into prioritized long-range plans, recommending solutions, and identifying future opportunities through research into emerging technologies and best practices.
Partners with management and business owners to define IT priorities, scope, capacity, and technical direction; provides recommendations based on client expectations, operational constraints, and performance considerations.
Develops financial forecasts and cost estimates for operating and capital needs, while establishing and monitoring IT standards, controls, compliance requirements, platform compatibility, data integrity, and security practices.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience, plus at least 7 years of experience
In-depth knowledge of principles, theories, practices and techniques for making activities related to planning, managing and implementing software projects and programs
Broad knowledge of practices, guidelines and procedures for planning, implementing and monitoring enterprise level information technology hardware and operating system infrastructures
Broad knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture
Strategic thinker with demonstrated sound business judgment, understanding of business purpose of each project and decision making within that context
