Senior Accountant
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory accounting, internal controls, and operational financial analysis across multiple facilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience within a manufacturing environment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This position offers strong visibility across finance and operations while providing opportunities for long-term growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute accurate accounting entries, financial reports, and reconciliations in a timely manner
- Perform monthly reconciliations for inventory, bank accounts, sub-ledgers, and assigned balance sheet accounts
- Analyze monthly P&L results and identify trends, variances, and operational impacts
- Support internal and external audit requests, including year-end audit preparation and documentation
- Coordinate intercompany payable and receivable reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support cost accounting activities and manufacturing financial reporting
- Provide financial data and reporting support to leadership teams
- Assist with payroll approval and reconciliation processes
- Document accounting procedures and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and plant leadership teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting
- ERP system experience required; SAP experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting AP/AR processes and account reconciliations

- Multi-entity or multi-location accounting exposure
