At CESO, a Staff Surveyor will work as part of a team, performing fundamental surveying tasks based on project requirements and gaining technical knowledge through research and active participation in projects. This position provides practical and professional work experience, supporting various tasks under the direction of senior team members. The Staff Surveyor will utilize surveying software and tools to prepare survey drawings, legal descriptions, plats, exhibits, calculations, research etc. under the direction of a Professional Surveyor. This position is expected to function primarily in an office-based technical capacity, with targeted field involvement as needed to support data validation, boundary resolution, and construction support. Typical time allocation is approximately 65–80% office and 20–35% field, depending on project needs.
