This is an opportunity to lead an established 24/7 fitness club positioned within one of Melbourne’s most connected and fast-growing outer eastern communities.
We’re seeking a commercially minded and people-first Club Manager who knows how to build strong local relationships, create an exceptional member experience, and lead a team with energy, accountability, and consistency.
This role would suit an experienced Club Manager, Assistant Manager, or high-performing sales and operations leader ready to take ownership of a club and drive both culture and performance.

The Opportunity
As Club Manager, you will take ownership of the club’s overall performance across operations, sales, member experience, and team culture.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management role. You’ll be highly visible within the club, leading from the front, supporting your team day-to-day, and creating an environment members genuinely enjoy being part of.
You will have the autonomy to drive local initiatives, community engagement, and club culture while being supported by an established national fitness network and proven operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the club team to achieve strong performance outcomes
Drive membership growth, retention, and local community engagement
Deliver exceptional member experiences and service standards
Manage club operations, rostering, reporting, and daily performance
Build local partnerships and establish strong community presence
Support and develop in-club personal trainers and local initiatives
Maintain high presentation standards across the facility
Execute sales, marketing, and outreach campaigns within the local market
About You
Previous experience as a Club Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Sales Leader
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style
Commercially minded with the ability to drive KPIs and team accountability
Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities
Passionate about people, culture, health, and community
Comfortable leading within a fast-paced member-focused environment
Hours & Roster
This is a full-time leadership position operating across a rotating roster aligned to club operations.
Typical roster example:
Monday – Thursday: 10:30am – 7:00pm
Friday: 9:30am – 4:00pm
Occasional rotating Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
(with an adjusted Friday or Sunday in lieu)Flexibility required to support the team, club culture, and key operational periods
The roster is designed to ensure strong visibility during peak club hours while still supporting work-life balance and leadership consistency across the team.
