Cybersecurity System Engineer (ISO/SAE 21434)
Job Description
Within the project, your main tasks will include:
- Ensure system compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 requirements throughout the lifecycle
- Perform TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) at system and item levels
- Define and manage cybersecurity goals, claims, and requirements
- Contribute to secure system architecture design
- Support cybersecurity activities during concept, development, production, operation, and decommissioning phases
- Interface with internal teams and customers on cybersecurity topics
- Support cybersecurity audits and assessments (internal/external)
- Contribute to incident response and vulnerability management
- Maintain cybersecurity work products and documentation required by ISO 21434
You have a strong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and automotive cybersecurity processes and an experience with:
- TARA methodologies (e.g. STRIDE, HEAVENS)
- Secure system and network architectures
- Cybersecurity requirements engineering
- Understanding of automotive architectures (ECUs, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with secure boot, OTA, key management, cryptography
- Experience working in automotive development environments
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 (functional safety)
- Experience with UNECE R155 / R156
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 21434 Practitioner, Security+)
- Experience with embedded systems cybersecurity
