Your Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier development, selection, and performance evaluation
- Negotiate purchasing terms and manage complex purchasing processes
- Initiate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery schedules
- Monitor and optimize procurement and supply chain processes
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels while avoiding shortages or overstock
- Identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Analyze purchasing trends and report on supplier performance
- Maintain master data and procurement systems (ERP/MRP)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Your Profil:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices)
- Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office
- Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
