Summary:
The Invasive Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist, under the direction of a qualified physician, assists in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/ or treatment of heart or peripheral vascular disease, or any other procedures performed within the Cath lab while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.

Other information:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Completion of a formal radiological technology training at an approved AMA School required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible obtaining Certification within one (1) year of hire (AART Cardiac Intervention or RCIS Certification) required
• CPR
• ACLS
• 12 CEUs on a yearly basis
• 1 year of prior experience is preferred
