Job Description
Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia (BHMC-A), Arkansas is seeking to find physicians to staff its Emergency Medicine Department. BHMC-A is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located adjacent to Interstate 30 and is 65 miles southwest of Little Rock. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 and is a Level IV trauma center. This 10-bed facility experiences over 12,000 visits per year and is stroke-ready certified. Candidates must be either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. ATLS and ACLS is required. Additionally, 400 hours of Emergency Medicine Department experience within the last 2 years, is preferred. The compensation structure will be a professional services/1099 agreement. Slot malpractice coverage will be provided.
