The Coordinator, Researcher Products, provides the Researcher Products team with administrative and project-based support. The team as a whole has a broad remit to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of products/services/business models which are available to authors for use/purchase and to develop new products as end-user needs evolve. The Coordinator will be assigned tasks and have responsibilities for delivering administrative, communications, and cross-team coordination support. They will have opportunities to experience Product Management processes and methodologies and gain and develop skills through practical experience and application. These could include data gathering and analysis, competitive analysis, or end-user research.
How you will make an impact:
Supports the administration of the team performing operational tasks at scale, such as process and workflow change updates, editorial data management, operational change tracking, transition implementation, and other supporting activities.
Supports the administration of such operational tasks at scale for large projects and strategic implementations, as well as BAU tasks.
This role works effectively across regional and team boundaries and facilitates centralized efforts to maintain product-level data and standardization of workflows.
Reports to a Senior Manager within the Publishing Operations team, who has direct responsibility for decisions on the projects taken on by the Coordinator, as well as the strategic direction of the team.
What we look for:
You are educated to degree level, preferably in publishing, research, science, or a related field, or have a strong interest in these areas.
Provides operational support for day-to-day journal activities such as WOL maintenance, Author Guidelines updates, editorial contact data auditing, and all other journal operational change tracking efforts and ticketing system needs.
Monitors journal changes at the title level to assist managers in monitoring the performance of the portfolio
Performs all downstream activities as needed across the business for standard journal activities to centralize operational functions across the portfolio
Assists in efforts to implement programs across the Research business at scale that enhance our journal portfolios and reduce time and costs for the business
Ensures an ‘always on’ capability to take on large-scale, portfolio-wide projects with a quick turnaround time for delivery
Performs all efforts with speed and accuracy, with standardization, optimization, and harmonization always in sight.
Coordinates updates of title-level data in central management information systems, including related data-cleaning, and serves as the regional point person for cross-departmental information requests. Will provide administrative support in the data audit in STEP.
First line resource for all data audit efforts across Research, with access to key central systems
Performs all planned annual and sprint efforts to ensure data reliability across the business.
Provides administrative support for journal transition and transformation activities such as new launches, takeovers, and transfers out.
Tracks and provides due diligence support on all transition activities
Updates all necessary forms and resources as needed
