EQ3 is an innovative leader in furniture and accessory design with retail locations across Canada and the US, and a rapidly growing eCommerce presence. We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Trade Representative to join our Burlington team. This role is responsible for driving Trade sales growth through outreach, relationship management, and full ownership of the sales cycle, while supporting design professionals with exceptional service and project coordination.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build and manage relationships with designers and Trade clients
- Drive sales through quotes, order management, and follow-up
- Actively generate new business through outreach and networking
- Maintain and grow a Trade client database
- Support Trade projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met
- Promote events, programs, and represent EQ3 at local Trade shows
- Achieve sales targets and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 3–5 years of retail sales experience (design/furniture preferred)
- Strong sales, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Experience with POS systems, STORIS, and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Bilingual (French/English) will be an asset
COMPENSATION & ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Commission-based role: 7% of all written sales
- Estimated annual earnings: $50,000 – $60,000 CAD, based on performance
- Full-time role
- Evenings, weekends, and event participation required
