Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Technician to join our team in San Francisco. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or relevant technology
- Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used
- Manage time effectively to meet service level agreements and customer expectations
- Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot complex issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in field service or a related technical role
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or relevant technology
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel within the San Francisco area
