Order Puller (Pick & Ship, Mon-Fri, 8a-4:30p)

The Order Puller is responsible for the picking and pulling of parts throughout the warehouse while adhering to departmental processes and procedures. This role requires a basic understanding of order pulling principles in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Team player with strong accuracy focus
• Basic math and counting skills
• Ability to read Pick Suggestions and Work Orders
• Knowledge of FIFO practices and lot traceability
• Comfortable operating an order puller scanner
• Open to cross-training in other Shipping area
• High School Diploma or GED Preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

 

ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Pull parts from Pick Suggestions and Pick & Ship Work Orders
• Confirm Pick and Ship Work Orders
• Utilize weigh scales to count parts accurately
• Complete all inventory and warehouse documentation to ISO9001 / AS9100 standards
• Maintain a clean work area using 5S principles
• Stock order pulling cart with required materials
• Assist in training new employees in core skills

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance).
• Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours.
• Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool.
• Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit facility with chairs and/or mats at workstations; some use of approved chemicals
