
Technology and Engineering Teacher- Long Term Substitute
Job Description
West Hartford Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute in Technology & Engineering at Hall High School from February through April 10, 2026. This position will teach grades 9-12. With units in Computer Science, Robotics, and Engineering, candidates with technology and computer science experience are invited to apply.
Qualifications: Ideal applicants will hold or be eligible for a State of Connecticut Technology & Engineering teaching endorsement (047 Technology Education, PK�12).
Primary responsibilities include:
- Planning engaging lessons and developing instructional materials and assessments
Creating a welcoming and structured classroom environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Be prepared to teach any assigned Technology & Engineering unit from the program of studies
Be a team player willing to work in a strong, collaborative environment
