Job Description
In this role you will install, test, inspect, repair and maintain electrical and electronic circuits, equipment and systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, construct, test, repair, wire, calibrate, modify, maintain all types of electrical and electronic, eddy current, ultrasonic, pyrometric, temperature, combustion, refrigeration and air conditioning, fluid control, rectifier, power generation and distribution, communication and control systems and equipment radios, radio control cranes, meters, recording equipment, N.C. and PLC controllers and operators, interfaces, ac/dc control systems and drives, solid state devices, microprocessors, sensors, gauges, TV monitors, audio visual equipment.
- Wind armatures and coils, operate associated equipment.
- Plan, layout, assemble work from general instructions, prints, manuals, sketches, schematics conforming to specs and codes.
- Measure and perform calculations, tests like ultrasonics, insulation, infrared, vibration and gas analysis.
- Test safety devices.
- Prepare test results, reports and records as required.
- Operate mobile equipment: bucket and manlifts, cranes, hoists, trucks, Ind. Vehicles, scooters, earth auger, material handling.
- Possess a high school degree or GED.
- Be able to show proof of New York State electrical journeyperson status.
- Able to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends.
- Possess an excellent work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Employee must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Hourly Rate: $40.00
