Within Product Development & Operations, Design to Value plays a critical role in ensuring that cost, efficiency, and investment decisions are informed by strong data and clear insights.
The Design to Value Analyst supports cross‑functional workstreams across Product Development, Packaging, Operations, Finance, and Sourcing by turning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and helping teams make confident, informed trade‑offs.
What you’ll do
Analyze cost, margin, and efficiency data across product development, packaging, and operational activities.
Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and recurring reports that provide visibility to:
Cost trends
Savings initiatives
Performance versus targets
Support Design to Value initiatives by gathering and structuring data, sizing opportunities, and comparing scenarios.
Track progress against agreed targets and proactively highlight risks, variances, and emerging trends.
Prepare clear summaries, visuals, and briefing materials to support leadership reviews and cross‑functional discussions.
Translate financial data into clear, understandable insights for non‑finance partners.
Partner with Finance to validate assumptions and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of tools and templates used for opportunity tracking, business cases, and savings visibility.
What You'll Bring:
3–6 years of experience in an analyst, financial analyst, business analyst, or operations analytics role.
Strong working experience with cost, margin, and financial performance data.
Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel or Power BI
Solid understanding of core financial concepts (costs, margins, ROI, variances).
Experience working cross‑functionally in a matrixed organization.
Exposure to product development, operations, sourcing, or packaging environments is an asset.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $60,000.00 and $70,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
