Overview
- Design and supervise evidence-based behavioral intervention programs tailored to each client's needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide direct patient care, including behavioral therapy sessions, while maintaining adherence to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across environments.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and staff in implementing behavior plans effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient progress, intake forms, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
- Valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy applied behavior analysis, data collection, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, patient assessment, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Ability to perform comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
