Job Description
OBJECTIVE:
Under the supervision of the Director, Digital Transformation, the Web Merchandiser own the day-to-day product presentation, organization, and on-site merchandising for our B2B ecommerce platform.
This role is execution-focused and supports retailer-facing experiences, ensuring assortments, collections, and product visibility are accurate, efficient, and aligned with commercial priorities. It requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to use product data to inform merchandising decisions.
This position owns the B2B product experience for wholesale customers, supports sales efficiency and retailer satisfaction, ensures data-informed merchandising decisions, and provides a strong foundation as platforms and business needs evolve.
Platform tools may evolve over time, but the core responsibility remains B2B merchandising excellence.
Responsibilities:
B2B Product Merchandising & Execution
Manage product setup, collections, categories, and sorting on the B2B platform.
Ensure accurate, complete, and consistent product information for wholesale customers.
Execute seasonal updates, assortment changes, and availability refreshes.
Maintain strong on-site hygiene (visibility, pricing, stock accuracy).
Collection & Navigation Management
Build and optimize collections aligned with wholesale priorities.
Adjust product visibility and order based on performance and inventory.
Support navigation updates to improve retailer usability.
Work within platform merchandising tools.
Product Performance & Analysis
Monitor key product metrics (views, engagement, add-to-cart, conversion).
Identify top and under-performing styles and categories.
Use reports and dashboards to inform merchandising decisions.
Share insights with Ecommerce and Sales teams.(Data-comfortable role; not advanced BI.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Ecommerce, Sales, CRM, and Operations teams to align merchandising with selling priorities and inventory realities.
Ensure on-site execution supports wholesale workflows and customer needs.
Process & Continuous Improvement
Follow established merchandising processes and ensure accurate, timely updates.
Flag issues proactively and suggest workflow improvements.
Required Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in web merchandising or ecommerce operations.
Bachelor’s degree in ecommerce, digital business, project management, or a related field.
Experience working on B2B ecommerce platforms (Optimizely, Shopify, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
Comfortable working with product-level performance data.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel, including filters and sorting, basic formulas (e.g. SUM, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and working with product exports and comparisons
Ability to translate data insights into concrete on-site merchandising actions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
