Program Facilitators Extended Day Program-District Wide Pool 2026-2027

Lake Washington School District Extended Day Program is seeking qualified candidates for district wide Program Facilitators-2026/2027 School Year.

Description:
183 day working calendar
Hours Per Day: 7.0/ 35 hours per week
Split Shift: 6:15am-9:30am/3:20pm-6:30pm, Wednesday Only 6:15am-9:30am/1:50pm-6:30pm 
Shift subject to change.
Location: Extended Day Program Facilitators are subject to location changes depending on the needs of the program.

Hourly Rate: $27.77 (Salary Schedules - Lake Washington School District) Position is eligible for membership in the Lake Washington Service Employees International Union. 

Job Summary: Directly responsible for the implementation of the daily classroom program.

The Extended Day Program offers high quality childcare both before and after school for elementary age students within the district.
Activities offered at the Extended Day Program include:
completing homework
playing sports and general recreation
completing arts and crafts
playing games
reading
storytelling
listening to music
watching movies

• Clara Barton Elementary (Redmond)
• Franklin Elementary (Kirkland)
• Frost Elementary (Kirkland)
• Keller Elementary (Kirkland)
• Kirk Elementary (Kirkland)
• Lakeview Elementary (Kirkland)
• Muir Elementary (Kirkland)
• Rockwell Elementary (Redmond)
• Rose Hill Elementary (Kirkland)
• Sandburg/DCS Elementary (Kirkland)
• Thoreau Elementary (Kirkland)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must hold an associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours OR have passed an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher. Official documentation will be required upon hire.
