About the location:

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Engineering.
Work Authorization for the location is required.
What you will do
Support the Department Head in leading, motivating, and developing a high‑performing Engineering team while fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability
Oversee daily resort maintenance operations (M&E), including powerhouse activities, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to brand standards
Supervise and coordinate technicians across shifts, including rostering, task planning, log reviews, and follow‑ups
Lead by example as a hands‑on manager, supporting the team during peak or critical operational periods
Ensure effective training, coaching, onboarding, and ongoing skills development of team members, including Designated Trainers
Promote strong employee relations, performance feedback, mentoring, and career development aligned with company values
Maintain organized departmental administration, records, tools, and equipment while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with other departments and Duty Engineers for kitchen, laundry, buggy, and facility repairs
Uphold service and operational standards, contribute to budget control, planning, and goal recovery, and act on behalf of the Department Head when required

45 hours a week with 2 days off
