Job Description:
At AMF, we don't just build equipment - we shape the future of baking. As an Assembly Supervisor, you will lead daily assembly operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time execution. This role is critical in translating production plans into action, maintaining team accountability, and driving consistent performance on the shop floor while building short-term operational planning capability.
Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Safety: Lead and reinforce a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to all safety standards and proactively addressing risks on the shop floor
- Quality: Ensure all assemblies meet specifications and quality standards; drive consistency through standard work and rapid issue resolution
- Delivery: Own daily and weekly production execution by setting clear priorities, sequencing work effectively, and ensuring on-time completion
- Cost / Productivity: Manage labor utilization, attendance, and timekeeping for direct reports to maximize efficiency and minimize disruptions
- People / Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop team members; set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and partner with HR to support employee development and engagement
- Daily Management System: Maintain visual management boards, lead daily huddles, communicate across departments, and sustain strong 6S discipline
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly operations environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on leadership style with consistent floor presence
- Experience using Lean / MBS tools and leading teams and cross-functional initiatives
Preferred:
- Familiarity with visual management and KPI tracking systems
- Technical proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and production reporting
- Mechanical and electrical assembly knowledge

Growth Expectations
This role begins with a strong focus on daily execution and operational leadership during the first 1–3 months. Over time, the position will expand to support 1–6 month operational planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and broader leadership responsibilities across assembly operations
