7387 Temporary VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR (Skilled Trades)

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the Continuing Education IMT (industrial, Manufacturing Trades) department at Greenville Technical College. The selected candidate will deliver training classes in-person in one or more of the following subject areas: NCCER Electrical Technician Training Machine Tool Technology Pneumatics and Hydraulics Programmable Logic Controllers Mechanical Systems CNC Maintenance and Robotic Maintenance Mechatronics Duties may include any or all of the following. Develop and deliver training materials Follow syllabus guidelines Help maintain a safe work environment for students and enforce all safety rules Present material at a pace students will understand and that will permit coverage of vital concepts Check and report any equipment malfunctions Begin and end class on time Maintain record of attendance and other required documentation Provide feedback to program coordinator as to progress of students, class attendance, and student feedback. Assist with setup and clean-up procedures before and/or after each class and or lab.
