Your new role
We are looking for an Laboratory Technician to support our team in mammalian cell cultivation in 5L scale. As aLaboratory Technician at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of life-saving medicines.
Your main tasks will include:
- Performing mammalian cell cultivation in 5L and AMBR250 scale
- Conducting experiments and analyzing data
- Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
- Assisting in the development and optimization of mammalian cell culture processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and good laboratory practices
Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will be part of the department API MSAT Process Support, which works at the interface between development and production. Our labs and offices are located in Gentofte, where the team currently consists of 10 scientists/specialists and 6 (lab)technicians. The main responsibilities for our team are to develop and optimize mammalian and microbial cell culture processes for the production of biopharmaceuticals.
Your skills & qualifications
We expect that you are an educated (laboratory) technician, process technologist or similar and have experience in working with mammalian cell cultivation. To become successful in this role you:
- Have hands-on experience with upstream processes, preferably in laboratory scale (5L and AMBR250)
- Are detail oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team
- Have a high spirit and seek out tasks yourself, also when they are not served to you
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, where tasks and priorities change on a regular basis
- Are confident communicating in English, as this is the general language in the team
Besides this, you have good communication skills, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a curious, open mindset with a willingness to learn and improve. You are also known for building good relations and have a service-oriented mindset.

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 437,600 to 643,200 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst or "IFO").
The benefits package also includes a free choice account of currently 11% and 4% holiday allowance.
