Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely annual Zakat returns, in accordance with the latest ZATCA guidelines and updates.
- Ensure proper calculation and review of monthly VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns.
- Coordinate, Prepare and Respond to ZATCA audits and assessments, including Zakat, VAT, and WHT inquiries.
- Coordinate and compile documentation for Local Content audits, and actively communicate with relevant authorities, external auditors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
- Handle Transfer Pricing requirements and ensure timely submission of related documentation in accordance with ZATCA regulations.
- Collaborate with internal, group holding and subsidiaries teams to ensure accurate GL accounting and reflect tax impacts on the financial statements.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring proper tax provisioning and reconciliations.
- Provide management with timely and accurate tax-related reports.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, IFRS, IAS, and their application within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; professional qualification i.e. ACCA/ACA/CA/CPA is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of KSA tax regulations, including Zakat, VAT, WHT and TP is a must.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with IFRS and IAS standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic.
