Your new role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex projects within the API MSAT Project Office, driving strategic priorities and ensuring successful execution across multiple functions and stakeholders. You will operate with a high degree of independence while influencing both internal and external stakeholders in a global environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals
- Developing and executing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones
- Driving stakeholder engagement and maintaining strong communication across senior and global stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating risks through proactive project and risk management practices
- Coaching and mentoring project teams to foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance
In this role, you may also contribute to API lifecycle management projects, process optimisation initiatives, and transfer of new processes into commercial manufacturing.
Your new department
You will join the API MSAT Project Office, part of the API Manufacturing organisation at Novo Nordisk. The department plays a key role in driving cross-functional projects that support manufacturing excellence, process optimisation, transfer of products from CMC development to production, and product lifecycle management. Our responsibility covers product and process ownership for all biologic APIs within Novo Nordisk. Working closely with stakeholders across production, development, quality, and regulatory functions, the team ensures efficient and scalable solutions that ultimately benefit patients worldwide.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a motivated and experienced project manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading project teams towards ambitious goals.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A MSc in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a large organisation
- A strong understanding of API manufacturing is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Proven ability to set direction, drive results, and deliver high-impact outcomes in complex environments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a global mindset
A proactive and results-oriented approach, combined with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, will be key to your success in this role.

What we offer
Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
