Your Role:
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for supporting client groups primarily in the Cayman office in all areas of Human Resources (with support through the Caribbean locations as needed). The successful candidate will also review, create and implement policies, reports and processes and participate in projects that support key business objectives. The ability to collaborate, take initiative, adapt and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
Provide accessible and visible support and guidance to management and employees in all areas of Human Resources (including successful resolution of employee relations matters)
Manage the local immigration process end to end
Maintain oversight of appropriate risk and compliance, ensure appropriate HR protocols are followed and monitor areas of exposure
Implement HR initiatives in support of Citco’s business and strategic plans
Support and coordinate performance review and performance management processes along with succession planning, talent management and employee engagement activities (including local recognition program)
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support regional recruitment efforts
Work with the global Rewards team on regular review of compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness
Ensure timely, effective and relevant communication on all HR issues with key stakeholders
Proactively and positively participate in various companywide projects as part of the HR team
Build key relationships with local management teams
Analyze HR metrics and data and use the analysis to drive conversations and initiatives with the business
About You:
- You have a post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- You have 3 years of postgraduate Human Resources experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of local employment/immigration laws and policies
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You have a solutions mindset along with proven judgment and decision-making ability
- You have the ability to work independently with a high level of energy, creativity and independent thinking
