Design Manager - Marketing
The Design Manager - Marketing is responsible for leading the Marketing Creative Design team with the development and execution of digital creative for ’47. This position reports to the Senior Manager - Design providing daily support in all areas of the design process for Marketing Creative.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Designers with day-to-day processes, creative mentorship and the continued evolution of the brand look and feel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with E-Commerce, Product & Sales teams.
- Approve and guide creative and art direction for a range of digital projects.
- Ensure internal and external partners are adhering to brand guidelines established by the internal Marketing Creative Team.
- Stay up to date on best practices across all channels (email, paid, organic social and web) to ensure designers are aware of and following those guidelines.
- Contribute to conceptualizing creative solutions for the Marketing and Ecommerce calendars.
- Provide feedback on all design projects and work with Designers on changes.
- Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure milestones are being met on time and establishing creative solutions on expedited timelines.
- Present designers with reasoning behind design feedback to ensure the continued growth of the team.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of professional design experience (in-house or agency) preferred.
- Experience managing senior and junior designers.
- Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Advanced understanding of layout, typography, and responsive design.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate ideas both visually and verbally to others.
- Ability to work well within a team environment providing support, critique and assistance on projects.
