Job Description

The HR Operations Coordinator will report to the Manager, HR Operations and Reporting and support key HR operational processes in Workday, with a focus on resolving exception-based transactions, managing case activity, supporting mass processing, and maintaining HR data integrity. This role plays an important part in ensuring workforce data is accurate and reliable, which underpins reporting, workforce insights, and informed decision-making across the organization. This is an in-office role, with an expectation to work on-site four days per week.

 

What you'll do

  • Accurately perform Workday transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, and updates to effective dates, ensuring compliance with established procedures and weekly payroll deadlines.

  • Review, triage, and resolve first-level Workday cases, supporting timely and accurate case management.

  • Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve discrepancies between Workday data and supporting documentation (e.g., termination dates, hours entered).

  • Maintain data integrity within Workday, ensuring accuracy of key fields such as FTE, employee type, and organizational segments.

  • Identify and resolve duplicate employee records, determining appropriate actions such as rescind, retain, or data consolidation.

  • Create and maintain Supervisory Organizations and assign appropriate security roles.

  • Configure delegation access for store and corporate employees in accordance with business requirements.

  • Ensure all HR data is handled with the highest level of accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy standards.

  • Support testing of HR processes and system enhancements in partnership with Analysts and leadership.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance employee and manager experience, including highlighting root causes of issues.

  • Maintain SIN and work permit data audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in and support the resolution of various data audits across the team to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage and support Service Connection processes, ensuring timely handling and resolution of requests.

What you bring

  • 1–2 years of hands-on Workday transactional experience; familiarity with HR case management systems is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools, with demonstrated experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage workloads within tight timelines.

  • A detail-oriented and outcome-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • A proactive communicator who builds strong partnerships across HR, Technology, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptable and open to continuous improvement, with a willingness to learn and follow established processes.

  • A service-oriented professional who delivers responsive, accurate support to employees, managers, and partners.

  • Exercises sound judgment and applies established guidelines to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.

Broadband Salary Range: $44,000.00 – $73,000.00
Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role. #LI-AG2
