About the role
Help scale a brand that's already loved. Finary is looking for a Senior Freelance Brand Designer to support our Growth, Marketing, Content, and brand needs on a part-time contract basis.
We are looking for a senior freelance partner who can support us approximately 2-3 days per week, with flexibility depending on campaign, launch, and business needs.
You will own Finary’s brand design across Growth, Marketing, Content, and key product-adjacent moments, shipping the assets teams need while building the systems that make everyone faster. From paid ads and social visuals to YouTube thumbnails, email assets, landing page visuals, iconography, illustrations, and motion, you will ensure Finary shows up consistently, clearly, and on time.
This is craft at speed. You’ll work across high-visibility launches, campaigns, events, and everyday touchpoints, building templates, components, and guidance that scale without going stale. You’re comfortable with deadlines, production constraints, and the reality that great systems enable great work at pace.
We are looking for someone who can do more than execute requests. You should combine strong visual craft with a strong understanding of marketing, growth, performance creative, UX writing, and brand systems. You should be able to understand the objective behind a brief, propose strong creative directions, connect visual decisions to acquisition, conversion, and campaign performance, and help us ship high-quality brand and marketing assets with more speed, consistency, and impact.
You fold AI into your workflow to prototype faster, automate smarter, and explore further. You understand how visuals, messaging, and copy work together. You push the work until it’s sharp, then ship.

What you will do
Design across key brand moments: product launches, campaigns, events, and moments we haven’t defined yet
Create and ship marketing and content assets such as paid ads, performance creative, social media visuals, YouTube thumbnails, email/newsletter assets, landing page visuals, event kits, merch, hero assets, iconography, illustrations, and motion
Build and evolve a practical brand system, including reusable Figma templates, campaign layout systems, social and ad templates, reusable components, iconography, illustration, motion guidance, and practical brand rules that increases speed and consistency without going stale
Drive high reuse by helping Growth, Marketing, and Content ship assets faster by increasing reuse of approved templates and modules instead of creating net-new work each time
Help develop and contribute to clear and usable brand guidelines and documentation that help teams create more consistent work
Develop campaign concepts and creative directions, not only final production assets
Bring proactive creative input to briefs by asking the right questions, proposing options, and connecting visual decisions to campaign goals
Manage timelines and feedback loops to keep projects moving and quality high
Support acquisition and conversion goals by connecting creative decisions to audience needs, campaign performance, and performance feedback
Use AI tools where useful to accelerate exploration, copy iteration, production, prototyping, and creative execution
You care deeply about clarity, elegance, and reducing noise. Your work elevates through subtlety, not spectacle. You know when to break things and when not to. You ensure brand and marketing work feels cohesive with Finary’s broader product experience
About you
4+ years of experience in brand design, ideally at top-tier startups or studios
A portfolio that shows strong visual taste, brand systems work, and the ability to execute at a high level across mediums
System-minded builder who likes fast loops, high craft, and measurable impact as an IC
You have strong brand design craft and a high bar for visual quality
You understand how visuals, messaging, and copy work together
You can connect creative decisions to acquisition, conversion, and campaign goals
You’ve used AI tools in your creative process, whether for production, prototyping, or experimentation
You can work independently from a brief and bring proactive options rather than waiting for exact instructions
You communicate clearly and can explain the rationale behind your design decisions
You are collaborative with Growth, Marketing, Product, Content, and Design teams. Low ego, high standards.
English mandatory; EU/UK location within ±2h CET
Engagement Model
Arrangement: Freelance contract
Commitment: Approximately 2-3 days per week, with flexibility based on campaign needs
Target day rate: €350 - €550 depending on experience
