Job Description
- Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a HR Technology & Innovation Intern in Virginia Beach, VA to support HR operations, workforce analytics, and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys learning new technologies, solving problems, and finding innovative ways to improve processes.
- The intern will gain hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, reporting, workforce analytics, and automation projects while helping improve the employee experience through technology and data-driven solutions.
- Support recruiting and onboarding activities.
- Maintain employee records and assist with HRIS data management.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce metrics, and data analysis.
- Support process improvement and workflow automation initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to streamline manual HR processes.
- Assist with employee engagement, training, and communication programs.
- Participate in HR technology and special project initiatives.
- Conduct HRIS data audits and support system testing as needed.
- Must be currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
- Must have a strong interest in technology, innovation, and process improvement.
- Must be comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Must have the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Experience with Excel, reporting, or data analysis through coursework, projects, or previous work experience, preferred.
- Interest in HR Operations, HR Technology, People Analytics, or Business Operations, preferred.
- Exposure to HR technology, workforce analytics, and business operations.
- Hands-on experience with HR systems and process improvement initiatives.

- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Pay Range: $15 - $22 per hour
