This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. Role description:
We are building a great professional network for future openings within our Architecture team, with a specific focus on upcoming Architect I for Transit Projects roles. Role accountabilities:
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces; Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice.
- Capable of working independently to develop and implement technical solutions that align with project objectives.
- Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources.
- Monitor the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring any issues are resolved.
- Develop effective working relationships with the Task Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of progress, changes and the resolution of issues.
- Coach, guide and provide technical advice to junior team members, to support them in their delivery of the project and in their professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture with minimum 7 years of experience in architectural design work.
- Demonstrable experience across a wide range of complex projects and multiple design stages.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, AutoCAD, SketchUp,InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is mandatory.
- Knowledge of rendering software (VRay, Lumion, Enscape, MicroStation) is considered a plus.
- Relevant sector experience in all design phases; transit-related and aviation project experience is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a solid technical mindset, and good verbal and written communication skills in English.
