Role description:

We are building a great professional network for future openings within our Architecture team, with a specific focus on upcoming Architect I for Transit Projects roles. Role accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces; Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice. 
  • Capable of working independently to develop and implement technical solutions that align with project objectives. 
  • Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources. 
  • Monitor the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring any issues are resolved. 
  • Develop effective working relationships with the Task Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of progress, changes and the resolution of issues. 
  • Coach, guide and provide technical advice to junior team members, to support them in their delivery of the project and in their professional development. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture with minimum 7 years of experience in architectural design work.
  • Demonstrable experience across a wide range of complex projects and multiple design stages.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, AutoCAD, SketchUp,InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of rendering software (VRay, Lumion, Enscape, MicroStation) is considered a plus.
  • Relevant sector experience in all design phases; transit-related and aviation project experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a solid technical mindset, and good verbal and written communication skills in English.
