Own Mechanical Hard Disk Drive (HDD) qualification testing and serve as Vibration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead root-cause-analysis for HDD qualification issues, utilizing historical data and operational assessments to resolve performance degradation.
Drive mechanical characterization by Modal Testing and Laser Doppler Vibrometry (LDV) to identify structural resonances and failure modes.
Design, produce, and assemble mechanical parts and assemblies for products and test fixtures; setup and conduct tests of testing units and investigate proposals for improving structures/assembly.
Deliver comprehensive test planning and execution for HDD qualification and mechanical stress testing (e.g., transportation, operational vibration) through the entire product development life-cycle.
Establish ownership of Shock and Vibration (S&V) testing for Product Introduction Engineering (PIE) Taiwan (TWN) programs, driving the validation of structural integrity and performance across rack, tray, and component levels.
