Job Description

About the Role: As a Job Coach, you’ll provide person-centered job coaching to a group (1:3) of individuals at their work sites. You will teach workplace skills, foster independence, and ensure individuals meet employer expectations while creating a supportive environment for long-term job success. This is a substitute role, and shift times and locations will vary. Scheduling is based on business needs, staff call‑outs, and planned vacations.  Location: San Diego County Pay: The pay for this position is $21.00 to $21.00 Who you are: You believe in creating inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. You are patient, adaptable, and great at building relationships. You can balance providing support while encouraging independence. A typical day will include: Coaching individuals to develop job skills and workplace behaviors. Monitoring progress and adjusting support as needed. Ensuring quality and efficiency in work tasks. Documenting progress and communicating with employers and case managers. What you’ll need to be successful: High school diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Valid California Driver’s License, auto insurance, and a clean driving record. We’d love it if you: Are bilingual in English and Spanish. Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred).
