Facilities Manager (Security)

[What the role is]

You will join the team in managing Jurong Lake Gardens, the national gardens in the heartlands, serving the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community. Specifically, you will be responsible for facilities management and managing the security of the Gardens.

[What you will be working on]

• Implement preventive maintenance regime and corrective works for facilities and fixed assets

• Plan and implement periodic maintenance and replacement of facilities and fixed assets

• Execute maintenance of water and play equipment

• Work on site to check, verify and update GIS data of facilities, landscape and visitorship numbers

• Manage and respond to incidents within the Gardens

• Manage and lead the Security contractors engaged by NParks

• Conduct Table-Top and Ground Deployment Exercises with SPF and SCDF to ensure prompt emergency and evacuation responses

• Work on developing a new visitor services and security contract

Apart from these, you will be involved in a diverse range of activities, including  helping with programming and events, park surveys, trialling sustainable technologies and various landscaping and biodiversity enhancement projects.

[What we are looking for]

• Area of study in Estate/ Facilities Management or related discipline

• Experience in Security and Manpower deployment is beneficial

• Experience in GIS data management, digitalization and understanding of GIS concepts is preferred

• Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people

• Able to multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including enforcement when required

• Possess good interpersonal and writing skills to connect with various stakeholders

• Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required.

Successful applicant will be offered a contract until 31 Dec 2027.
