Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys turning customer requirements and engineering intent into clean, shop-floor-ready documentation? At Bevco Engineering, we’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to review customer and/or Bevco drawings, generate CAD outputs, and create internal documentation that supports shop floor automation and efficient assembly. This position is a key interface between the electrical engineers, the inside sales team, and the staff on the shop floor.Key Responsibilities:• CAD Drawing Support – Generate CAD 2D and 3D drawings under the direction of an Electrical Engineer.• Internal Documentation – Prepare internal documentation to support shop floor automation and efficient assembly.• Compliance & Standards – Review drawings to help assure compliance with external certifications, including UL508.• Customer Collaboration – Interface with customers to reconcile drawing issues and clarify requirements.• Shop Floor Support – Support the shop floor as required to facilitate efficient and effective fabrication of finished products.• Updates & Continuous Improvement – Update drawings and internal documentation to support customer change requests, replace obsolete components, and drive continuous improvement activities.• Technical Assistance – Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support with customers as needed. Qualifications:• Education – Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or equivalent experience.• Electrical Foundations – Experience with electrical concepts and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.• CAD Tools – Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, ePlan, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar design software).• Office Tools – Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.• Working Style – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.• Attention to Detail – Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, build-ready documentation.• Communication – Ability to communicate on a professional level with internal teams and customers.
