Excited to create content that showcases people, projects, and innovation? Join the Pulp & Paper Division at J.D. Irving, Limited and work directly with our Divisional Brand Lead to bring stories to life! From capturing behind-the-scenes moments to creating content that connects, this is your chance to combine creativity with real-world experience in one of Atlantic Canada’s most dynamic industries.

Bonus: We’ll cover your co-op fee (up to $1,000) so you can focus on what matters: gaining experience.

  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and internal campaigns
  • Capture and edit photos and videos that showcase our people and projects
  • Develop content that highlights operations across our four mills and project engineering group
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, tours, and community initiatives
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create polished materials for digital and print
  • Maintain a content calendar and contribute fresh, creative ideas
  • Track engagement and share insights to continuously improve our communications
  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a creative mindset
  • Comfortable with social media platforms and basic digital tools
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • A team player who loves collaboration
  • Interest in industrial operations and telling meaningful stories
  • Willingness to get out in the field, engage with teams, and capture content in an industrial environment
