Senior Process Engineer

Process Engineer JD:

1. Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement.
2. Prepare and review process flow diagram for process based on project requirement.
3. Prepare, update and review P&IDs based on Process flow or project requirement.
4. Performs specialized engineering duties related to pipeline system surge analysis, operating pressures and overpressure protection calculations.
5. Conduct surge analysis modeling for projects.
6. Review and evaluate data related to overpressure protection setpoints, sizing and installation requirements.
7. Assist in design and specification of new/modified overpressure protection mitigations.
8. Prepare, update and Process Datasheets for Process equipment like Pumps, Storage tanks, Reactors, Vessels, Columns, Separator, Heat Exchangers and other process equipment such as filtration equipment, and drying equipment.
9. Prepare, update and review Process Datasheets for Instrumentation.
10. Perform and review Hydraulic study, Hydraulic calculations for Line sizing, Pump head etc.
11. Perform review Control valve sizing calculations.
12. Perform Relief valve sizing calculations using appropriate codes
13. Prepare, update and review line list, equipment list etc.,
14. Conduct Surge analysis modeling for projects.
15. Preparation of Design documents.
16. Prepare, update and review Cause and Effect and Control Narratives based on the project requirements.

Work Experience:

1. Working knowledge in Aspen HYSYS.
2. Working knowledge of Synergi Pipeline Simulator, AFT Impulse or similar software.
3. Operating knowledge of AutoCAD & Navis works software.
4. Transmission/ gathering pipeline operations
5. Gas measurement and regulation activities
6. Processing and/ or storage operations
7. Company/ Governmental operation and safety procedures
8. Pipeline stress/strain analysis
9. Industry best practices and design philosophy
