Job Description
The Cloud Security & Cyber Risk Consultant plays a dual role supporting global teams by combining deep cloud security expertise with broader IT risk and cybersecurity consulting responsibilities. This position is designed for candidates with strong cloud security foundations, with the opportunity to grow into additional cyber risk, investigation, and governance capabilities through on-the-job learning and team support.

Primary Focus – Cloud Security Expertise:
Drives the operation, protection, and enhancement of cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on AWS and Azure security controls and best practices.
Secondary Focus – Cybersecurity & Cyber Operations:
Contributes to cyber defense operations such as incident response, threat analysis, and continuous security monitoring in a blue team environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, with training and mentorship provided.
Balances hands-on cloud security operations with advisory and project-based work across global teams.
What You’ll Do
Cloud Security:
Operate, monitor, and enhance cloud security tools and controls across AWS and Azure environments.
Govern cloud security standards, architectures, and best practices.
Partner with cloud engineering teams to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks in cloud platforms.
Lead cloud-focused incident response and security event analysis.
Brings broad cloud expertise to help build and mature cyber operations practices for cloud environments
Cybersecurity Operations:
Develops and documents playbooks, procedures, and best practices to improve team response to cloud-based incidents
Enables and upskills the broader team to more effectively detect, triage, and respond to cloud security events
Support larger, cross-environment incident response efforts spanning both cloud and on-premises systems.
Contributes to investigations, including digital forensics and incident analysis, using established processes and tools.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of equivalent hands-on experience in Information Technology.
Strong foundation in cloud security, including AWS and/or Azure security best practices, architecture, or operations.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, incident response, or risk management.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
