The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is currently hiring an Chef de Cuisine for In-Room Dining and The Lounge & Bar Kitchen.

Job Summary

  • Oversee chefs and kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • ​​Promote a cooperative work environment to enhance productivity and employee morale.
  • Monitor performance to ensure all kitchen procedures are followed.
  • Prepare labor forecasts and weekly schedules, adjusting as needed for business demands.
  • Ensure the preparation of nutritious, safe, and appealing food, adhering to quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, ensuring compliance with health guidelines.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and address complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage the kitchen budget, monitoring food and labor costs.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections, oversee staff assignments, and implement corrective measures as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in culinary related disciplines or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • 10 years or above of culinary experience and preferably in hotels
  • Well-versed in kitchen hygiene, be innovative and service-oriented
  • Team player with good communication skills
