TikTok Shop’s Risk Control Platform is a global team dedicated to ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for our buyers, sellers, and creators. We focus on areas such as risk detection capabilities, fairness, and sustainability of the E-Commerce ecosystem, content and commodity quality, and friction-free experiences to drive improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and algorithms for fraud detection and prevention.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers and other cross functional teams to integrate risk control solutions into the platform.
• Evaluate existing risk control processes and technologies, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance fraud prevention capabilities.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend systems to ensure reliability and performance under varying loads.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices in risk control and fraud detection.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline.
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on risk control or anti-fraud solutions.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on risk control or anti-fraud solutions in the e-commerce industry.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
