Position Overview:

The Production Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient manufacture of products according to defined processes and quality standards. This role performs hands-on production tasks including batching, blending, filling, packaging, and equipment cleaning. The Production Operator ensures that daily production targets are met while maintaining a clean, compliant, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and mix raw materials according to batch sheets and production specifications
Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively during the production process
Accurately fill, label, and package finished goods in compliance with quality standards
Conduct routine equipment cleaning and maintenance to ensure readiness and safety
Maintain production records, including quantities, batch numbers, and time logs
Report any deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns to the Site Leader or QC
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures as required
Support inventory control through accurate material usage reporting and waste minimization
Other duties assigned by management
Key Deliverables:
Consistent on-time completion of assigned batches with minimal rework or errors
Compliance with safety and PPE protocols at all times
Accurate reporting of material usage and production data
Clean and organized work area maintained daily

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Technical or vocational training in manufacturing (preferred)
Required Experience:
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
Ability to operate equipment and follow batch/formulation instructions
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment
Effort/Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures.
Must use or wear equipment, protective devices, or certain clothing as required by the company.
