Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technician I/II/III
Job Description
As an Electronics/Electrical Technician, a typical day might include the following:
- Test, repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot problems of high complexity to the component level on SEL products.
- Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Provide basic troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.
- Partner with other divisions to satisfy the needs of our customers.
This job might be for you if:
- You have a diploma/degree in electronics and communication, electrical engineering or equivalent.
- You have a strong understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor-based electronics.
- You enjoy working in an electronics lab work environment.
- You enjoy solving complex problems alongside your team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
- Proficiency in analysis and presentation of technical information.
- Process improvement experience.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionally
- Sit and stand for at least 8 hours
- Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
- Ability to differentiate color
- Reach, bend, and twist
