Front Desk Associate – Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa at Capital Health Hopewell

Oasis Spa at Capital Health Hopewell is seeking a Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional guest service while support the daily operations of the spa reception area. This position services as the first point of contact for guest and plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, professional, and relaxing spa environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule spa services for guest using reservation software.
- Check guest in and out accurately and efficiently
- Process cash and credit card transactions through the point of sale system
- Promote spa services, retail products and service enhancements
- Maintain accurate daily schedules for service providers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and workstation
- Ensure accuracy and security of cash banks, keys and company property
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, and ongoing education
- Perform additional duties as assigned by spa management
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous front desk, hospitality, retail or quest service experience preferred
- Cash handling and point of sale experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and positive attitude required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff and management
This position operates in a professional spa and wellness environment. Team members are expected to maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere and uphold all spa service and safety standards.
The Front Desk Associate must maintain knowledge of all spa services, salon services, oncology suite services, and retail products in order to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
